A three-day film festival featuring local and foreign films ended on Jahangirnagar University campus on Friday.
With the slogan ‘Alada Chithi Tobu Ek Khame, Alada Shobai Shudhu Ek Name’, the 41st batch rag committee organised the festival, which was inaugurated at the Zahir Raihan auditorium of the university on March 20.
Films like Dahan, KGF, Titanic, Palabi Kothay, Tere Nam, Postmaster 71, Badhai Ho and Deadpool 2 were screened at the event.
‘Every batch of JU organise various cultural events as part of their rag day festival. Following in their footsteps, we organised the film festival ahead of our rag day. The main event will be held at the end of April,’ Abdur Rahim Jewel, convener of the rag committee, told New Age.
