Demonstrators carried torches at the procession that ended at AntiHooliganism Raju Memorial on DU campus.

BSU leader Maria Ferdousi presided over a rally at the memorial. The speakers condemned the alleged rape and murder of a Mastermind School student and murder of domestic help at Kalabagan in Dhaka.

BSU Dhaka city branch president Taseen Mallick, Jahangirnagar University branch president Mikha Peregu, English medium school unit convener Sraban Chowdhury, among others, spoke at the rally.

The speakers called for an end to the culture of impunity that allows perpetrators of sexual assault and violence against women to go unpunished.
