TV channels come up with special programmes

Different Television channels will broadcast special programmes today marking the 50th Independence and National Day.

The programmes comprise cultural shows, discussions, teleplays, music shows and others.

ATN Bangla will telecast special teleplay titled ‘Amio Ki Muktijoddha’ directed by Shahin Ahmed at 9:00pm tonight. It depicts events during the liberation war along with the election of 1970. The teleplay stars Shajal Noor, Nadia Nodi, Kazi Uzzal, Ashraf Kabir, Tamal Mahbub, Shisir Ahmed and others.

The channel will air music show titled ‘Lal Sobujer Bangladesh’ anchored by Nazrul Sangeet singer Ferdous Ara will be aired on ATN Bangla at 11:00pm.

Besides, the channel will air special children’s programmes ‘Amra Tomader Bhulbo Na’ at 9:30am and ‘Swapner Swadhinata’ at 10:30am. It will also air ‘Muktijuddher Iitihas’ at 11:10am, dance show ‘Priyo Swadhinata’ at 6:20pm, ‘Ek Khondo Bangladesh’ at 8:00pm and ‘Muktir Pothe’ at 12:00am. 

Channel-i will air Nasiruddin Yousuff directed film ‘Guerrilla’ at 3:30pm.

Joya Ahsan, Ferdous Ahmed, Pijush Bandyopadhyay, Ahmed Rubel, Shatabdi Wadud, Shampa Reza, ATM Shamsuzzaman, Azad Abul Kalam, Shajjad Ahmed and others have acted in the film.

Besides, the channel will telecast live music show titled ‘Gaan Diye Shuru’ at 7:30am, a discussion programme titled ‘Tritiya Nayan’ at 9:45am, ‘Taroka Kathan’ at 12:30pm and a special teleplay ‘Adhare Abha’, written by Nahidul Islam and Noor Imran Mithu and directed by Noor Imran Mithu, at 7:50pm.

Bangla Vision will air special teleplay ‘Kaler Abarte’ at 9:05pm. Directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud and written by Helen Badaruddin, the teleplay tells the story of a woman named Kalyani, who lives at Islampur with others girls at her house, materially a brothel.

Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Shatabdi Wadud. Nusrat Jahan Ruhi, Shamapty Mashuq, Reagan, Hasi and others also have acted in the teleplay.

Besides, a special discussion programme titled ‘Agnijhara Din’ will also be aired on the channel at 5:20pm, where former minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, freedom fighter M Khaliquzzaman, Hamidul  Hussain Tarek will discuss about liberation war and its significant.

Desh TV will telecast special programmes marking the day. Chashi Nazrul Islam directed film ‘Hangor Nodi Grenade’ will be aired at 8:00am.

Popular actors Sohel Rana, Aruna Biswas, Antara and others have acted in the film.

Besides, the channel will air Fakhrul Arefeen Khan’s film ‘Bhuban Majhi’ at 3:30pm, documentary film ‘Slogan’ at 6:00pm, ‘Hajar Salam’ at 6:30pm and teleplay ‘Mone Rekho’ at 7:45pm.

Duronto TV will telecast special episode of popular children’s programme ‘Sisimpur’s titled ‘Amar Desh Amar Gorbo’ at 5:30pm.
