Superhero film ‘Bloodshot’ to release today

Hollywood superhero film ‘Bloodshot’ will be released in the branches of Star Cineplex in the capital today.

The film is based on the Valiant Comics character of the same name. ‘Bloodshot’ has been directed by David S F Wilson. It has been produced jointly by Neal H Moritz, Toby Jaffe, Dinesh Shamdasani and Vin Diesel.

The film stars Vin Diesel, Eiza González, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell, Guy Pearce and others.

After the death of marine Ray Garrison (Vin Diesel) in the film a team of scientists bring back him from death using nanotechnology. Ray Garrison comes back as superhuman, a biotech killing machine titled ‘Bloodshot’, the lead character of the film. He starts training with fellow super-soldiers. He cannot remember anything from his former life. As the story moves forward, Ray Garrison remembers the moment of being killed. Somebody killed him and his wife at a same time.

Later he decides to take revenge and breaks out of the facility. At a point he shocking conspiracy gets revealed to him and he discovers bitter truth.

The film’s run time in 1 hour 49 minutes. ‘Bloodshot’ is intended to be the first installment in a series of films set within a Valiant Comics shared cinematic universe. Steve Jablonsky has done the music of the film.
