Theatre troupe Prangonemor staged the second show of its new production ‘Krishnachura Din’ at Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium of Bangladesh Mahila Samity on Friday.

‘Krishnachura Din’, which was premiered at the Mahila Samity on Thursday, has been written and directed by Nuna Afroz. The play revolves around the story of two friends namely Dola and Bhumi.

Dola and Bhumi have been inseparable friends since their school days. They went to the same college, university and earned their master’s degrees together.

Though Dola and Bhumi have much in common, they have different preferences. Bhumi loves Krishnachaura while Dola prefers Radhachura.

Things take a turn when Dola gets married to Nehal and moves into a small flat to start her conjugal life.

Bhumi feels helpless as she is unable to bear the absence of Dola. She decides to visit Dola for a few days and the play moves forward.

Chaitali Halder, Nuna Afroz and Touhid Biplob acted in the play.

‘‘Krishnachura Din’ is the 15th production of Prangonemor. It is my 5th directorial venture. I hope the audience have enjoyed the play. I have earlier directed plays namely ‘Swadeshi’, ‘Raktakarobi’, ‘Shesher Kobita’ and ‘Ami O Rabindranath’,’ Nuna Afroz told New Age.
