The regional convention of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Bangladesh for its Satkhira, Khulna, Jashore and Chuadanga region began at its Sunderbans unit at Jatindranagar of Shyamnagar in Satkhira on Friday.
The national amir of the community Abdul Awwal Khan Chowdhury inaugurated the two-day convention, said a press release.
Organisers said that the aim of the convention was to spread the teachings of the holy Quran and the ideals of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM).
Religious scholars delivered speeches on various topics, including the existence of Allah, Quran, Muhammad, equity and justice.
