A juvenile court in Tangail on Thursday sent two secondary school certificate examinees to jail on charge of sending snapshots of question papers out of a examine centre at Bhuapur Government Pilot High School at Bhuapur in the district.
Bhuapur police arrested the two after a case was filed against them by the examine centre secretary and the school headmaster Mohammed Mohiuddin in the Digital Security Act and the Public Examinations (Offences) Act on Wednesday evening.
Bhuapur police officer-in-charge Rashidul Islam said that the accused students had taken snapshots of question papers on their mobile handsets and sent them out during the examination of the subject ICT on Wednesday. The centre secretary witnessed the incident and he also checked their handsets and found evidence, added the officer.
