A daylong group exhibition displaying posters depicting gender discrimination was held at Jagannath University recently.

Safe Space Group Jagannath University unit organised the exhibition at the ground floor of the new academic building at JnU.

Jagannath University vice-chancellor Professor Mizanur Rahman inaugurated the exhibition titled ‘Gender & Discrimination’ as chief guest.

Sociology department chairperson Professor Shipra Sarker, anthropology department chairperson Professor Sanjida Farhana, teachers and students of different departments visited the exhibition.

Students studying at social work, sociology, anthropology and law departments of the university displayed posters at the show. The top three posters were awarded by JnU authority.
