Theatre Art Unit to premiere three productions in 2020

Theatre troupe Theatre Art Unit will premiere three new productions, comprising two plays ‘Ha_Othoba Na’, ‘Einstein’ and a pala, in 2020.

‘Ha_Othoba Na’ will be the 34th production of the troupe. It has been written by Ferdous Amin Biplob and directed by Abu Sufian Biplob. It will portray different social issues.

The play will feature more than five songs, dance recitals and others. A total of 17 young artistes of the troupe will enact different roles in it.

‘I have been a member of Theatre Art Unit for more than 27 years. “Ha_Othoba Na” revolves around an atypical plot. I hope theatre lovers will find it entertaining,’ said Ferdous Amin Biplob.

‘Einstein’, which will be the 35th production of the troupe, has been written by Mokaddem Morshed and directed by Rokeya Rafique Baby. Besides, the troupe will premiere the pala towards the end of this year.

‘We will premiere “Ha_Othoba Na” on February 15 and “Einstein” in June or July. Besides, we want to premiere a pala in November or December of this year,’ Chandan Reza, director of Theatre Art Unit, told New Age.

‘Besides premiering new theatre productions, we will stage our acclaimed plays throughout the year. We will also confer SM Solaiman Pronodona this year,’ said thespian and member of Theatre Art Unit Rokeya Rafique Baby.
