Rabbi smashes 153 in National School Cricket

Rabbi Sardar hit a blazing 153 off 122 balls to hand Charmuguria Merchant High School a comprehensive 247-run win over Al Zabir High School in their district-level match of the Bangabandhu National School Cricket in Madaripur on Monday.

Rabbi hit 22 fours and three sixes in his innings and propelled Charmuguria to 335 runs in their 50 overs at Asmot Ali Khan Stadium.

Chasing a daunting total, Al Zabir were bundled out for just 88, with Mujahid Rahman Mridha claiming 5-16.

In Moulvibazar, Border Guard Highs School defeated PC Model High School by four wickets in their district level match.

Around 12,000 cricketers from 556 schools across the country are taking part in this year’s tournament, making it the biggest cricket tournament of the country.
