Power Development Board retained the title of Bangladesh Premier League volleyball when they beat Titas Club by 3-2 sets in an exciting final at the Shaheed Noor Hossain National Volleyball Stadium on Wednesday.

Despite losing the first set, PDB won the final by 23-25, 25-20, 25-23, 24-26, 15-12 to complete a treble in 2018-19 season.

PDB earlier clinched the Victory Day title in December last year and jointly won National Championship with Titas in December 2018.

PDB captain Horshit Biswas, who is also Bangladesh national team captain, was ecstatic after winning all the three titles with PDB this season.

‘Today’s [Wednesday’s] match was an exciting one. It took around three hours, the longest one I have ever played in my 10-year career,’ he said.

A total of 10-team took part in the 14-day long league.
