Artistes of Mohananda Jhandi Dal, a Chapainawabganj-based troupe, entertained the audience rendering traditional Jhandi Gaan at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy premises on the 17th day of Bangladesh Cultural Festival 2020 on Sunday.

Jhandi Gaan depicts the tragic story of Karbala. Artistes traditionally perform the song during the holy Ashura commemorating the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
