Dance organisation Nritya Nandan will organise a classical dance show ‘Parampara’ at the auditorium of Chhayanaut Shangskriti-Bhavan on December 28, says a press release.
Nritya Nandan aims to encourage dedicated young dancers in Bangladesh by organising such programmes.
‘Parampara’ will feature performances by bright, young and talented classical practitioners of Bangladesh who have worked very hard with dedication the past few years to establish themselves as classical dancers.
Manipuri dancer Sudeshna Swayamprabha, Bharatnatyam artiste Maria Farih Upama, Kathak dancer Moumita Jaya and Kathak dancer Hasan Ishtiaque Imran will perform at the programme.
These young dancers began their training in Bangladesh under their teachers here and then received further training under renowned dance maestros.
They have all been ICCR scholars and passed their Masters in dance together from Rabindra Bharati University Kolkata in 2018.
