Bangladesh Nationalist Party is going to hold protest programmes across the country on December 30 marking ‘democracy killing day.’
BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said this on Monday at a press conference at the party’s central office in the capital’s Nayapaltan area.
Marking the day, they would hoist black flags at all the party offices across the country, Rizvi said.
Earlier, on Saturday, they declared to observe December 30 as democracy killing day denouncing the December 30, 2018, general election that witnessed ‘widespread rigging, ousting BNP’s polling agents from polling centres and violence’.
