In the men’s compound individual event final, Siam Siddique beat Himu Bachar by 144-140 score to bag gold medal.
‘It’s a good sign for us as we have many archers now competing for the glory. Maybe our SA Games winners took the event lightly and it’s good that others grabbed this opportunity,’ said Bangladesh Archery Federation secretary Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal.
Suma Biswas was the only SA Games gold medallist to win gold medal in her respective event in the national meet as she beat Shamoli Roy by 143-140 in the women’s individual compound event final.
