The Asian Development Bank and the government on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly promote public-private partnership projects in the country’s health care sector.
The memorandum was signed at a ceremony in Dhaka by the Director General of Health Services Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad, Director General of Bangladesh Public-Private Partnership Authority Abul Bashar and the bank’s country director for Bangladesh Manmohan Parkash, said a press release.
Ashadul Islam, secretary of the health services division of the health and family welfare ministry, and the public-private partnership authority chief executive officer Alkama Siddiqui attended the ceremony among others.
