Int’l conference on globalisation 2019 held at DIU

A 3-day long international conference on globalisation, entrepreneurship and emerging economies concluded on Tuesday at Daffodil International University in the city.

The DIU in association with The Centre for Innovation Leadership Navigation, UK jointly organised the conference for the first time in Bangladesh during December 8-10, 2019, said a press release.

Professor Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, vice-chancellor of DIU was present at the closing ceremony as the chief guest at 71 Milonayatan of Daffodil International University.

PR Datta, executive chair, Centre for Business and Economic Research, UK, Jow N Row, dean, City University of New York, Mark T Jons, Centre for Innovative Leadership Navigation, UK, Shah Azam Shantanu, Professor, Department of Marketing, University of Rajshahi,  Professor Masum Iqbal, convener of 4th International Conference on Globalisation, Entrepreneurship and Emerging Economies and dean, Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, Professor Fokhray Hossain, director, International Affairs of DIU also present at the programme.

92 authors from Canada, UK, USA, India, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, Thailand and Bangladesh presented 75 papers in the conference, the release said.
