Bangladesh women recurve archers missed their chance to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics 2020 in quotas when they were eliminated from the Continental Qualification Tournament in the 21th Asian Archery Championship in Thailand on Tuesday.
Ety Khatun was eliminated from the third round after conceding 5-6 set defeat against Loc Thi Dao of Vietnam. Beauty Ray conceded 5-6 set defeat against Tukebayeva Farida of Kazakhstan in the second round.
Mahanaz Akter Monera was out from the second round when she lost to compatriot Ety by 2-6 set points in the second round.
Bhutan, India and Vietnam women’s archers booked the three quota spots for Tokyo Olympics 2020.
