Bullet-hit body found on Himchari beach

Bullet-hit body of an unidentified male was found on Himchari sea beach in Ramu of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday.

Ramu police took the body being informed by local people at around 8:00am and sent it to Cox’s Bazar General Hospital morgue for autopsy. 

Ramu police officer in-charge Abul Khair said a team of police found an unknown bullet-hit body from Amtalirchara near Himchari, on the East side of Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf marine drive on Sunday morning.

‘The body recovered is aged about 38 to 40 years. There are marks of

bullet injuries on its back and chest,’ Abul Khair said.

On Saturday, another bullet-hit body of a young man was found at Inani sea beach in Ukhiya of Cox’s Bazar on Saturday.

The identity of the deceased in his twenties was yet to be known, according to the local police.
