Solo music show held at national museum

Singer Saiful Haque entertained the audience presenting songs of yesteryear at a solo music show held at Sufia Kamal Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum on Wednesday.

The programme titled ‘Ekok Sangeet Shandha’ was organised by Holystar Music Academy.

The singer rendered songs addressing issues like patriotism, human relationship, devotion and others.

Saiful Haque rendered songs Salam salam hazar salam, Din jay kotha thake baki, Amar shara deho kheogo mati, E mon amar pathor toh noy, Shobai toh bhalobasha chaye , Tumi roj bikeler, Jokhon raatri nijhum nei chokhhe ghum and others to the delight of the audience.

Music composer Devendranath Chatterjee, Munshi Wadud, Timir Nandi, Farid Ahmed and others were present as special guests at the event.

‘We need to preserve the yesteryear songs for the upcoming generation. The younger generation singers must practice such songs for improving their skills,’ Saiful Haque told New Age.

Saiful Haque was accompanied by Sadi on tabla, Shankor on drums, Shapon on bass guitar and Rashed on keyboard.
