Artistes of Arshinagar Foundation entertained the audience presenting popular songs and dance recitals at a programme held at Music and Dance Centre of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Wednesday.
The programme titled ‘Magazine Anusthan’ was organised by Arshinagar Foundation.
Arshinagar Foundation chairman Sahin Reza presided over the event.
Singer Shawon Chowdhury inaugurated the programme as the chief guest while Arshinagar Foundation advisor Shah Alam and its senior vice chairman Afroza Begum, among others, spoke at the event.
Following the discussion, a vibrant cultural show was held.
Artistes of Arshinagar Foundation presented popular playback, traditional and modern Bangla songs.
In solos, Sonia Khan Eti rendered Tagore song Borisho dhora majhe shantiro bari, Sharfina Sarmin Akter sang songs like Jetuku shomoy tumi thako pashe and Chiro dini tumi je amar and Reza Tabassum Proma rendered Nazrul song Priyo emono raat jeno jay na brithai.
Child artiste Galpo performed a dance recital synchronised with the song Aaj phagune agun lage.
Besides, a duet album of singers Mokarrom Ali and Toba titled ‘Dhupchhaya’ was also launched at the event.
