Phoenix Insurance organised an event under the slogan of ‘Digital Khamar gori, Gobadi Pranir Bima Kori’ to patronise UK Aid’s cooperative organisation Surjomukhi’s ‘Surjomukhi Prani Sheba’ project, said a press release.
State minister for fisheries and livestock department Md Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru attended the programme as chief guest held at the Hotel Intercontinental Dhaka in Dhaka on Sunday.
The aim of the programme is to inspire and aware the farmers about developing and detecting the breed of cattle, improving animal reproduction, first aid system of the livestock and data preservation through the ‘Internet of Things’ (LoT) technology in the remote villages of Bangladesh, said the release.
Phoenix Insurance chairman Md Shoeb, the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority member Gokul Chandra Das, Sujomukhi CEO Fida Haque, fisheries and livestock ministry senior secretary Ashadul Islam, finance ministry secretary Raisul Alam Mondal, agricultural and media activist Shykh Seraj spoke on the occasion.
