Police Bureau of Investigation found the decomposed body of a teenage boy from a poultry farm seven days after he went missing at Ghagra of Sharshadi in Feni on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Mosharaf Hossain Sajib, 14, a student of Class VIII and son of a Bangladeshi expatriate in Qatar Delwar Hossain of Gajariakandi in Feni.
Sajib went missing on the evening of August 12 after he went out with two of his friends.
After interrogation, one of Sajib’s friend said they visited a nearby poultry farm on the day but the owner of the farm drove them away and since then Sajib was missing.
Later, PBI arrested the farm owner Manik Mia, 45, and another person for their alleged involvement with the incident. Based on their information, PBI found the body.
The body was sent to Feni General Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination.
Feni police officer-in-charge Alamgir Hossain said they would know the details of the incident upon investigation.
The family was preparing to file a case in this regard, he added.
