Movement of vehicles through Damdama Bridge on Dhaka-Rangpur national highway would remain suspended for eight hours from 10:00PM Monday to 6:00am Tuesday for maintenance works.
The Eid-ul-Azha falls on Monday.
The road users were requested to use the Rangpur-Badarganj-Madhyapara-Mithapukur road during the maintenance works, said a release issued by the Roads and Highways Department’s Rangpur office. The release said that the Damdama Bridge between Rangpur and Mithapukur on Dhaka-Rangpur-Banglabandha highway would be repaired.
