Bangla department students of Islamic University in Kushtia staged a play titled ‘Rup Pratijogita’ at the university campus on Monday.
The play, penned by Lila Mojumdar, has been directed by Bangla department’s fourth year student Enamul Haque.
It was staged at IU Bangla Mancha on the second day of a three-day Baishakhi fair, which was organised by IU from Sunday to Tuesday marking Pahela Baishakh.

The play was staged at 7:00pm. IU students Merin, Rumpa, Purnima Bhakta, Ashfika, Shamoli, Bipasha, Bonna and Shakhawat enacted in different roles.
A large audience comprising teachers and students thronged the venue to enjoy the play.
Among others, IU former proctor and syndicate member Professor M Mahbubar Rahman, IU student advisor Professor Paresh Chandra Barman, Bangla department chairman Professor M Saidur Rahman, Professor Rabiul Hossain and others were present at the event.
