Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission on Sunday evening withdrew its suspension order from the internet services after keeping suspended for 20 hours starting from 11:00pm on Saturday.

Mobile phone operators have restored 2G, 3G and 4G internet services at around 7:00pm on Sunday after keeping the service suspended following instruction from the telecom regulator.

Earlier at 3:00pm on Saturday, BTRC instructed mobile phone operators to suspend 3G and 4G internet services for 33 hours ending at 12:01 AM on Monday.

The order, however, was revised on Saturday midnight where telecom operators were asked to shut internet services.
