Quoting neighbours, he said that four or five unidentified women came to their home in the morning and wanted to see vacant rooms on the plea of taking them on rental.
He said his parents showed the rooms to the women who engaged his parents in gossips.
At one stage, he said, a lady living on the next door came to see his parents intrigued over silence at the house and found them lying senseless on the ground and drooling.
He said that the lady cried out for help.
Hearing her cry, other neighbours rushed to the house and informed him about what had happened to his parents over mobile phone and they took his parents to DMCH in the evening.
He said that he joined them on the way to the hospital.
He said that the strangers had looted valuables and the neighbours found family belongings scattered everywhere.
