Underprivileged children took part at a day-long art camp held at Jibanananda Memorial Auditorium in Barisal city on Wednesday.
Over 100 children from different institutions and organisations participated at the event which was organised by Bangladesh Shishu Academy Barisal district unit.
The children created colourful artworks in crayon and water colour depicting rustic life, scenic beauty of Bangladesh and others at the camp.
Artist Abhijit Chowdhury and six other artists instructed the children at the camp.
Deputy commissioner of Barisal Habibur Rahman inaugurated the event, while Barisal district children affairs officer Pankaj Roy Chowdhury gave the welcome speech.
