Bangladesh assured of two golds

Bangladesh is assured of at least two gold medals in the 3rd South Asian Archery Championships as local archers dominated the second day’s play at BKSP on Sunday.
Ruman Shana of Bangladesh, who topped the ranking round in the men’s individual recurve event, will face compatriot Ibrahim Sheikh Rezwan in the gold medal deciding match on Tuesday.
Two Bangladeshi archers—Susmita Banik and Roksana Akter will vie for the women’s individual compound gold medal on the same day.
Another Bangladeshi archer Nasrin Akter will face Himani of India in the women’s individual recurve gold medal winning match.
Bangladesh’s Milon Mollah managed the bronze medal in the men’s individual compound event beating his compatriot Ashim Kumar.
Archers from five South Asian country are participating in the meet which is being held after a gap of 10 years from the previous edition in India.
