Constantinos S Gavriel has recently been appointed as the new general manager of Le Méridien Dhaka, said a news release.
Gavriel brings with him over 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He started his career as a business development executive at The Kensington Hilton in London, UK and has held various positions within Marriott since 2011.
He worked for the Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts in 2003.
After almost 14 years in London, United Kingdom, Gavriel had worked in the Middle East as cluster director of sales and marketing for Rosewood Hotels and Resorts in Riyadh, which includes the ultra-luxury Al Faisaliah Hotel designed by Lord Foster.
Since leaving Saudi Arabia, Gavriel worked in Abu Dhabi the capital of The UAE, Russia and Kazakhstan.
Prior to joining Le Méridien Dhaka, Gavriel was general manager of The Renaissance Aktau Hotel, Kazakhstan.
Gavriel, a British national holds a BSc (honours) degree in international hotel management from The University of North London in United Kingdom.
