The 325th board of directors meeting of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited was held at the bank’s corporate head office in the capital on Wednesday, said a press release.
The meeting was presided over by the bank’s chairman, Md Sanaullah Shahid.
SJIBL vice-chairman Md Abdul Barek, directors Anwer Hossain Khan, Abdul Halim, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Akkas Uddin Mollah, Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Md Towhidur Rahman, Mohammed Younus, Mohammed Golam Quddus, Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Md Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Jabun Nahar and Fakir Mashrikuzzaman, independent directors Ekramul Haque, KAM Majedur Rahman and Nasir Uddin Ahmed, acting managing director Abdul Aziz and company secretary Md Abul Bashar were present at the meeting.
A number of directors participated in the meeting through video conferencing.
The board approved a number of investment proposals and reviewed various issues related to the bank’s policy. — New Age
