Bangladesh reports 48 more dengue cases in 24hr

A total of 48 dengue cases were detected in 24 hours ending on Sunday in Bangladesh, said the Directorate General of Health Services daily bulletin.

With the latest figure, the total number of dengue cases had increased to 673 across the country from January.

Among them, 302 patients were detected in the month of July.

Dhaka South City Corporation had logged a total of 293 patients from January, among which 268 patients were detected in the month of July.  A total of 30 cases were detected in Dhaka North City Corporation.

A spokesperson for Covid-19 management at the DGHS, physician Mohammad Robed Amin, who is also a line director of the DGHS’s NCDC unit, said in a virtual health bulletin came up with the statistics.
