The Mutual Trust Bank Foundation has recently extended support to Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children in its effort to align its CSR initiatives with Sustainable Development Goals.
This support will help educate and train individuals with autism to develop to their fullest potential and improve the quality of their lives, said a press release on Wednesday.
Syed Rafiqul Haq, additional managing director and chief business officer, Mutual Trust Bank, handed over a cheque to Subarna Chakma, chairperson, Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children at a simple ceremony held at the MTB corporate head office in Dhaka. Among others, Sabina Hossain, secretary, Syeda Shamima Akhter, treasurer of SWAC, and Goutam Prosad Das, deputy managing director and head of Group Internal Control and Compliance, Tarek Reaz Khan, deputy managing director and chief operating officer, Rais Uddin Ahmad, deputy managing director and chief anti-money laundering compliance officer, Md Aminul Haque, chief financial officer, Tahmina Zaman Khan, unit head, Sustainable Finance Department, and Azam Khan, head of communications Department of MTB, along with other officials of the both organisations were also present at the event.
