BCB sells title rights to Alesha and Walton

Bangladesh Cricket Board has sold the title rights for all home series till October 2023 to a conglomerate formed by Alesha Mart, Walton and Impress -Matra consortium, said BCB officials on Saturday.

The chief executive officer of Impress-Matra consortium Sanaul Arefin Chowdhury told the reporters that they in partnership with Alesha Holdings Limited and Walton have secured the title sponsorship, powered by and title and ground branding rights for all home series in the next two years for Tk 32 crore 55 lakhs.

‘We were the highest bidders with a sum of Tk 32 Crore 55 Lakhs and secured the rights,’ he told the reporters in a media briefing held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Saturday.

The three-match one-day international series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, which starts today, will be named as Bangabandhu ODI series 2021 presented by Alesha Mart and powered by Walton.
