Different organisations will celebrate the 160th anniversary of the birth of the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore organising online programmes today amid the Covid situation.
Bangladesh Shipakala Academy, Chhayanaut, Rabindra Sangeet Bikash O Shilpi Sammelan Kendra, Bangladesh Rabindra Sangeet Shilpi Sangstha Dinajpur, Sangskriti and others will pay tribute to Tagore by organising online programmes.
Bangladesh Shipakala Academy will stream an online programme featuring discussion, songs, dance recitals and recitations on its Facebook page at 11:00am.
Chhayanaut will stream a programme titled Dharo Nirbhoy Gaan on its YouTube channel at 9:00pm.
Rabindra Sangeet Bikash O Shilpi Sammelan Kendra will stream a programme titled Chironutanere Dilo Daak on its Facebook page at 10:00pm.
Bangladesh Rabindra Sangeet Shilpi Sangstha Dinajpur will stream a live programme on its Facebook page at 9:30pm. The programme will feature songs, recitations and discussion by the artistes form both Bangladesh and India.
Cultural organisation Sangskriti has arranged a three day online programme, which commenced on Friday. The programme is being streamed on its Facebook page at 9:00pm.
Besides, Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre will stream an online programme on its Facebook page at 7:30pm.
