Nagad gives sanitiser, masks to RAB

Nagad, the mobile financial service arm of Bangladesh Post Office, has handed over few thousand personal protection materials to the Rapid Action Battalion to face the ongoing coronavirus situation.

Nagad has handed over 5,000 N95 masks and 1,000 bottles of hand sanitiser to the elite force at a ceremony on Wednesday at RAB headquarters at Kurmitola in the city, said a press release. In the event, Md Shafayet Alam, executive director of Nagad handed over the gift to the director general of RAB additional IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun.

From Nagad, retired lieutenant colonel Md Kousar Soukat Ali, head of external affairs, retired lieutenant colonel Mohammad Hasan-Ur-Rashid Been Mosharrof, M Mahbub Alam, general manager stakeholder management, head of law enforcement agencies Squadron Leader Asma Alamgir, director general of Stakeholder Operations External Affairs Division at Nagad were present.

From the RAB side, additional director general Colonel KM Azad BPM, DIG Imtiaz Ahmed, director (admin) and Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Khairul Islam were present at the event.
