Nurjahan Begum
Nurjahan Begum, wife of the Department of Social Services’s former director Abdur Rashid and mother of Pubali Bank Limited’s public relation officer and Lions Clubs Internation’s District 315 A1 region chairperson M Mizanur Rahman, died of old-age complications on April 30.
She was buried at her family graveyard at Kalapaharia in Araihazar upazila under Narayanganj following her first funeral prayer in Dhaka and second funeral prayer at Kalapaharia, said a press release.
She is survived by three sons, two daughters and many grandchildren.
