The specialised COVID-19 treatment hospital set in Dhaka North City Corporation’s Mohakhali market is going to start operations on Sunday.
‘The dedicated hospital will have 212 intensive care units and 250 high dependency units with 540 isolated high care rooms for COVID-19 patients,’ the hospital director AKM Nasir Uddin told New Age on Friday.
He said that they also were installing all necessary laboratories and testing facilities with 60 emergency beds.
Nasir Uddin said that central oxygen supply system, generator and other facilities had already completed to run the hospital in time adding that health minister Zahid Maleque was expected to inaugurate the hospital on Sunday.
