The Department of Law and Human Rights of University of Asia Pacific in association with UNESCO Madanjeet Singh South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human Rights Studies organised virtually the 4th UMSAILS-UAP lecture on Monday.
The distinguished speaker of the event was University of Edinburgh research fellow and Dhaka University law professor Ridwanul Hoque, said a press release.
He delivered a lecture titled Constitutionalism in South Asia: The Significance of Constitutional Founding Values.
The event was presided over by Professor M Sultan Mahmud, acting vice-chancellor of UAP.
Among others, senior jurist Dr Kamal Hossain, UAP trustee board member Qayum Reza Chowdhury also spoke at the event, moderated by the university’s law department head Chowdhury Ishrak Ahmed Siddiky.
