DIU holds mini marathon on Mujib Year

Daffodil International University organised ‘Bangabandhu DIU Mini Marathon’ marking Sheikh Mujib’s birth centenary.

Marking Sheikh Mujib’s birth centenary, Daffodil International University organised ‘Bangabandhu DIU Mini Marathon’ on Wednesday at the Daffodil Smart City in the capital.

DIU acting vice-chancellor SM Mahabubul Haque Majumder was present as chief guest and distributed prizes, said a press release. 

DIU registrar AKM Fazlul Hoque, academic affairs dean Mostafa Kamal, ESDM department head Kamal Pasha, deputy registrar Ishaq Miji, senior assistant director Kazi Diljeb Kabir, Saad Andalib Joy and Rakibul Islam also spoke at the programme. 

Civil engineering student Mohammed Abdikani became 1st, software engineering student Nahid Kawsar Nishat stood 2nd while electrical and electronic engineering student Ratul won the 3rd position.
