Citibank, NA Bangladesh recently hosted a webinar on Sustainability Strategy for Family Business in partnership with the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bangladesh Chamber of Excellence, said a press release.
The webinar focused on the challenges of family business, generational transition and the roles of shared value, good governance, and transparency in achieving longevity in family business.
CCCI president Mahbubul Alam chaired the session, moderated by Institute of Business Administration director of Dhaka University Syed Ferhat Anwar. MM Ispahani Ltd chairman Mirza Salman Ispahani, Rahimafrooz Ltd group director Munawar Misbah Moin,
PwC Bangladesh managing partner Mamun Rashid and Citibank Capital Markets and Advisory banking head Shams Zaman were present as panelists. CCCI president Mahbubul Alam highlighted the importance of ensuring continuity for established family businesses in the context of the national economy.
