Bangladesh Industrial and Technical Assistance Centre inaugurated a ‘Bangabanghu Corner’ at its administrative building at Tejgaon in the capital on Wednesday to mark the 100th birth anniversary of the country’s founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Industry minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun inaugurated the corner.

Presided over by BITAC director general Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, its director Sayed Ehasanul Karim delivered a welcome speech.

The corner has been decorated with various important facts, photos and relevant books about the life of Mujib.

BITAC also published a memoir to celebrate the inaugural function. Poet Soumitra Dev and Marina Sayed recited poems while Lovely Dev rendered music offering Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the programme.
