The newly appointed Bangladesh Biman managing director and CEO, Abu Saleh Mostafa Kamal, on Monday said that first task was to ensure the flight schedule of the national flag carrier.
‘Maintaining flights schedule is the biggest challenge for Biman Bangladesh Airlines,’ he said at his maiden press briefing at Balaka, the headquarters of Biman, in Dhaka.
Kamal said that he had decided to make a strategic planning with short, mid and long term approaches to take the national carrier into a new height.
The new Biman MD also said that he had his own plan to bring success in Biman overcoming the hurdles posed by COVID-19.
The new head of the Biman said that he would not hesitate to take action against any officials if he or she was found involved in corruption.
