Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation elections will be held on March 24 to elect a 25-member committee, apart from the president, for four-year tenure at the National Sports Council (old building) auditorium.

A total of 106 voters will cast their votes for 24 posts – four vice-presidents, one general secretary, two joint secretaries, one treasurer and 16 members.  The president of the federation is always nominated by the government.

The NSC finance department director Towhidur Rahman Khan was made the chief election commissioner when NSC published the elections schedule and draft voter list on Thursday.

According to the election schedule, the final voter lists will be published on March 4.

Kabaddi Federation elections were last held in October 2012.
