Country’s premier golfer Siddikur Rahman took one-shot lead on the second day of the fifth Paragon Professional Golf Tournament at the Army Golf Club course on Tuesday.
The two-time Asian Tour winner Siddik aggregated two-under-par 142 after he played one-under-par 71 in both first and second rounds to take the lead above Zamal Hossain Mollah.
Zamal, who traded two-over-par 74 in the first round carded three-under-par 69 on the second round to move up to second place from ninth.
Mohammad Rasel of Savar Golf Club maintained his third place with one-under-par 143 [72+71] while opening day’s leader Akbar Hossain slipped to fourth place as he carded one-under-par 143 [69+74].
