My Sister’s Keeper, a project working for the advancement and acceleration of women leaders globally, held its second webinar.
The programme titled ‘Starting the Conversation of Domestic Violence’ was organised on the digital platform Zoom on February 20.
The speakers talked about how to reflect thoughts and emotions logically being inside a patriarchal environment, how to convert a one-to-one conversation into a general conversation with everybody and how to understand and identify different communication approaches for women of different generations and age groups.
Dr Nashid Kamal, adjunct professor of Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control And Research, barrister Rizwana Yusuf, advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh and Ms Nazmun Naher Shishir, communication and advocacy manager, Obhibashi Karmi Unnayun Program were present as the webinar speakers.
My Sister’s Keeper project is running under the supervision of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh and World Academy for the Future of Women, a USA based non-profit organization working for the advancement and acceleration of women leaders globally and operating in China.
