Mehedi Hasan Parag emerged champion in the DIU-ACPB Rapid Rating Chess Tournament held at the Daffodil International University on Friday.
Md Abu Hanif became runners-up while Aveek Sarkar finished third in the tournament.
Daffodil International University and Chess Players Bangladesh in association with Bangladesh Chess Federation jointly organised the tournament.
Amir Ali Rana, general secretary, ACPB, president, Golden Sporting Club was present as the chef guest at the closing ceremony and distributed prizes among the winners.
