Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society and Police Football Club played out a goalless draw in their Bangladesh Premier League match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.

In an evenly contested match though Police FC kept most possession on the ball, Rahmatganj nullified their attacks with good defending.

Police FC could have scored in the 40th minute but their Ivory Coast midfielder Frederick Pooda’s left-footed drive from the top of the box flew over the crosspiece.

Rahmatganj created a couple of chances from counter-attacks and came close to success in the 47th minute as their Ivory Coast forward Lorougnon Christ Remi’s shot from the top of the box rebounded from crosspiece.

With the day’s result, Police FC have earned seven points from five games with two wins against one draw and two losses while Rahmatganj secured five points from six games with one win against two draws and three losses.
