The Premier Bank Limited authorities had signed a memorandum of understanding with Toronto School of Management to offer educational assistance among students pursuing higher studies in Canada and sending tuition fees through the bank, said a press release on Monday.

This is the first of its kind in the industry, where a bank signed MoU with any international educational institution.

Premier Bank managing director and CEO M Reazul Karim attended the signing ceremony as the chief guest, while Bryan Vythilingum, director, International Student Recruitment from Canada, virtually attended the programme as a special guest.

Sujan Das, business development manager Bangladesh office of Toronto School of Management, and Shamim Murshed, SEVP and head of agent banking and head of retail business division of Premier Bank, signed the MOU on behalf of the respective organisations.
