
Mujibur Rahman Dilu
Freedom fighter and actor Mujibur Rahman Dilu was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at a hospital in Gulshan on Friday. His condition is critical.
Thespian Ataur Rahman, also the elder brother of Mujibur Rahman Dilu, confirmed it to New Age.
‘He is suffering from multiple health problems including lung infection. His condition is critical. He tested negative for COVID-19. Doctors have given him plasma therapy. I urge all to pray for him,’ said Ataur Rahman.
‘He was first admitted to a hospital in Uttara on Wednesday night. He was later shifted to a hospital in Gulshan for better treatment on Friday evening,’ added Ataur Rahman.
Actor Mujibur Rahman Dilu was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome and fell into a coma in 2005. His condition gradually improved.
Mujibur Rahman Dilu received huge response playing Malu in the iconic TV drama series Sangsaptak.
He has adapted, directed and acted in several theatre productions namely Ami Gadha Bolchhi, Janatar Rangoshala, Nana Ranger Dinguli and others.
